Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (or 1 tbsp dried)
1 cup cold whole milk (or buttermilk for richer flavor)
Optional Brush-on Butter:
2 tablespoons melted butter
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon parsley flakes
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment.
2. Whisk flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder.
3. Cut in cold butter until mix is crumbly.
4. Add cheddar and parsley; toss to combine.
5. Pour in milk; stir gently until just combined.
6. Drop dough scoops on sheet, spaced 2 inches apart.
7. Bake 13–15 minutes until tops are golden.
8. Mix melted butter with garlic powder and parsley.
9. Brush hot biscuits with garlic butter.
10. Serve warm and enjoy.
Notes
