Ingredients

1/4 cup packed brown sugar

1 tablespoon granulated sugar

1 egg yolk

1/2 teaspoon non-alcoholic vanilla extract

6 tablespoons all-purpose flour

Pinch of sea salt

1/4 cup chocolate chips


Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Melt butter in an 8-inch oven-safe skillet over low heat, then remove from heat.

Stir in brown sugar and granulated sugar until blended.

Let cool briefly, then add egg yolk and vanilla, stirring until smooth.

Add flour and salt. Mix well.

Fold in chocolate chips evenly throughout.

Spread dough evenly in skillet and bake for 11–13 minutes.

Let cool for 2–3 minutes before serving directly in skillet.

Notes

Use coconut oil for soft, dairy-free version.

Top with non-dairy vanilla frozen treat for serving.
