Inspired by Molly Yeh’s Girl Meets Farm, this tangy, cheesy pickle pizza features a white sauce base, crunchy dill pickles, and low-moisture mozzarella for a bold twist on classic comfort food.
Ingredients
1 pizza dough ball (store-bought or homemade)
1/2 cup white sauce (sour cream + garlic + herbs)
1½ cups shredded mozzarella (low-moisture recommended)
Thinly sliced dill pickles
Fresh dill (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 475°F.
2. Roll out dough on floured surface to about 12 inches.
3. Spread white sauce over crust.
4. Top with shredded mozzarella.
5. Add pickle slices evenly (do not overcrowd).
6. Sprinkle fresh dill (if using).
7. Bake on hot stone or baking sheet for 12–15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and lightly browned.
8. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
Swap sour cream for Greek yogurt.
Add provolone for extra melt.
Use spicy pickles for a flavor kick.
