Bold and buttery hibachi chicken, seared to perfection with soy, garlic, and sesame oil—delivers restaurant flavor in under 30 minutes from the comfort of your kitchen.
Ingredients
1.5 lbs boneless chicken thighs or breasts
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp unsalted butter
Salt & pepper to taste
(Optional) Splash of honey
Instructions
1. Pat chicken dry and cut into bite-sized cubes.
2. Preheat skillet or griddle over high heat.
3. Add 1 tbsp butter and sesame oil to the hot pan.
4. Sear chicken undisturbed for 2–3 minutes per side.
5. Add garlic and stir to prevent burning.
6. Cook chicken for 8–10 minutes until done.
7. Drizzle soy sauce over the chicken and stir well.
8. Add remaining butter and mix until everything is glazed.
9. Season with pepper.
10. Serve hot over rice or veggies.
Notes
Use chicken thighs for more juiciness.
Do not overcrowd the pan—cook in batches if needed.
Leftovers work great in wraps, salads, or stir-fry.
Store in fridge up to 4 days or freeze in flat bags.
Reheat in a skillet to maintain texture.
