Ingredients
16 oz. Rigatoni pasta
1 lb. Italian turkey sausage or ground beef
28 oz. crushed tomatoes
1 cup mozzarella cheese
Fresh basil & oregano
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. Boil rigatoni in salted water until just al dente (about 8 minutes). Drain.
3. Sauté sausage or beef in skillet until browned (6–8 minutes). Drain fat.
4. Add tomatoes and herbs to meat. Simmer 10 minutes.
5. Combine pasta and sauce in baking dish. Top with cheese.
6. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Notes
Toast pasta slightly in olive oil before baking for crispy edges.
Swap in shrimp or plant-based meat for variation.
Great with garlic bread or salad.
