Description
A flavor-packed homemade version of the Taco Bell Crunchwrap Supreme with customizable fillings and improved texture. Think warm seasoned beef, crispy tostada, cheesy sauce, and fresh toppings wrapped in the perfect fold-and-toast tortilla bundle.
Ingredients
1 large burrito-size flour tortilla
1 tostada shell
1/3 lb ground beef, seasoned with taco spice
2 tbsp nacho cheese (or queso or shredded cheese)
2 tbsp sour cream (optional)
1/4 cup chopped lettuce
2 tbsp chopped tomato
Optional: pickled jalapeños, chipotle sauce
Instructions
1. Brown ground beef with taco seasoning in a skillet until fully cooked.
2. Warm flour tortilla slightly to make it flexible.
3. Place cooked beef in the center of the tortilla.
4. Add nacho cheese over beef, then place tostada shell on top.
5. Spread sour cream over the tostada.
6. Top with chopped lettuce and tomato.
7. Fold tortilla edges over center in pleats to fully enclose the filling.
8. Place seam-side down in a hot skillet. Toast 2–3 minutes until golden and sealed.
9. Flip and cook the other side until crisp and evenly browned.
Notes
Do not overfill or it may burst while cooking.
You can swap beef for grilled chicken, lentils, or tofu.
Warm fillings slightly so ingredients cook evenly.
Serve with roasted corn, avocado salsa, or a side of slaw for a complete meal.
