Description
Tender salmon glazed in a homemade teriyaki sauce—sweet, savory, and weeknight-ready. This dish is perfect over rice or with veggies for a flavorful, nourishing meal.
Ingredients
4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp fresh grated ginger
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F or turn on broiler. Line a baking sheet with foil.
2. In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, honey, vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Simmer for 3–5 minutes.
3. Place salmon skin-side down on the baking sheet. Brush half the glaze on top.
4. Bake for 12–14 minutes, basting once. Broil last 2 minutes for extra char.
5. Drizzle with remaining glaze and garnish with scallions, sesame seeds, or chili flakes.
Notes
For air fryer: Cook at 400°F for 10–12 minutes.
Use maple syrup or brown sugar if honey isn’t on hand.
Add a splash of sriracha for heat or grill for smoky flavor.
Pairs great with jasmine rice, garlic veggies, or Asian slaw.
