  • Author: Ray
  • Total Time: 25–30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

Tender salmon glazed in a homemade teriyaki sauce—sweet, savory, and weeknight-ready. This dish is perfect over rice or with veggies for a flavorful, nourishing meal.

Ingredients

Scale

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce

3 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons rice vinegar

1 tablespoon sesame oil

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 tsp fresh grated ginger

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F or turn on broiler. Line a baking sheet with foil.

2. In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, honey, vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Simmer for 3–5 minutes.

3. Place salmon skin-side down on the baking sheet. Brush half the glaze on top.

4. Bake for 12–14 minutes, basting once. Broil last 2 minutes for extra char.

5. Drizzle with remaining glaze and garnish with scallions, sesame seeds, or chili flakes.

Notes

For air fryer: Cook at 400°F for 10–12 minutes.

Use maple syrup or brown sugar if honey isn’t on hand.

Add a splash of sriracha for heat or grill for smoky flavor.

Pairs great with jasmine rice, garlic veggies, or Asian slaw.
