Description
Boldly seasoned, perfectly crispy salmon cooked in under 15 minutes using an air fryer—bringing together tradition, flavor, and convenience.
Ingredients
2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt & black pepper to taste
Lemon zest or juice (optional finish)
Instructions
1. Pat salmon fillets dry with a paper towel.
2. Rub each piece with olive oil and season with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
3. Preheat air fryer to 390°F if needed.
4. Place salmon fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket.
5. Cook for 8–10 minutes until internal temperature reaches 145°F.
6. Finish with lemon zest or juice for brightness.
Notes
Don’t flip the salmon while cooking; most air fryers cook evenly from the top down.
Overcooking is a common mistake—use a meat thermometer to check.
Pat salmon dry before cooking to help achieve crispy skin.
Try spice blends like Cajun, gochujang rubs, or Middle Eastern flavors.
Pair with sauces like garlic yogurt or lemon-dill crème fraiche, and sides like farro salad or blistered green beans.
