Ingredients
4 salmon fillets (skin-on) – about 6 oz each, fresh or thawed
Olive oil – or avocado oil
Salt and black pepper – to taste
Garlic powder – adds depth
Paprika – smoked preferred for extra kick
Lemon wedges – to serve
Optional: honey, Dijon mustard, chili flakes
Instructions
1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F for 3 minutes.
2. Brush salmon fillets lightly with olive oil.
3. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika or your favorite seasoning.
4. Place salmon skin-side down in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each fillet.
5. Air fry at 400°F for 10–12 minutes, depending on thickness. No flipping needed.
6. Salmon is done when it flakes easily and edges are slightly crispy (internal temp: 125°F–130°F).
7. Squeeze lemon on top before serving.
Notes
Try marinating salmon overnight in a soy-honey-garlic blend for deeper flavor.
Use leftovers in rice bowls, wraps, pastas, or salads for quick meals.
Store cooked salmon in fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 1 month.
Reheat in air fryer at 350°F for 5–7 minutes to avoid drying out.
