Description
A savory and simple beef pasta dish combining ground beef, tomato sauce, and tender pasta with a hint of fresh basil.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
8 oz pasta
1 large onion
3 garlic cloves
2 cups tomato sauce
2 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup fresh basil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté onions and garlic until onions are translucent.
Add ground beef, cook until browned, and break into crumbles.
Stir in tomato sauce, season with salt and pepper, and let simmer for 20 minutes.
In another pot, cook pasta until al dente, then drain.
Combine pasta with beef sauce, garnish with basil, and serve.
Notes
Use fresh basil for the best flavor.
Make sure to not overcook the pasta.
Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
