Ingredients
1.5 lbs fresh cod fillets
2 tbsp lime juice
1 tsp smoked paprika
0.5 tsp garlic powder
0.5 tsp chili powder
0.5 tsp cumin
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups shredded cabbage
0.5 cup chopped cilantro
8 small corn tortillas
Sliced jalapeños (optional)
Diced mango (optional)
Instructions
Pat cod fillets dry and place in a shallow dish.
Drizzle lime juice over cod.
Mix smoked paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Rub over fillets.
Heat skillet with oil, cook cod for 3–4 minutes per side.
Toss cabbage with lime juice, cilantro, and a pinch of salt for slaw.
Blend yogurt, chopped cilantro, lime juice, and garlic for crema sauce.
Warm tortillas until pliable or slightly charred.
Assemble tacos with cod, slaw, and crema drizzle. Serve immediately.
Notes
For a lighter version, bake or air-fry the cod.
Serve with mango salsa or avocado slices for extra flair.
