Ingredients
1 block extra-firm tofu, pressed
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
Press tofu for 10–15 minutes using a tofu press or heavy book.
Cut tofu into 3/4-inch cubes.
In a bowl, toss tofu with soy sauce, cornstarch, and garlic powder until coated.
Heat sesame oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
Add tofu and cook undisturbed for 4 minutes.
Flip and cook each side until golden brown and crispy, about 12 minutes total.
Serve with sauce or over your favorite grains and veggies.
