A quick and healthy baked salmon recipe with lemon, herbs, garlic, and olive oil. Perfect for weeknight dinners or meal prep.
Ingredients
4 salmon fillets (6 oz each), skin-on
Juice of 1 lemon
3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
2 tbsp chopped dill or parsley
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking tray.
Season salmon with salt and pepper on both sides.
Mix lemon juice, garlic, herbs, and olive oil in a bowl.
Brush the mixture over each salmon filet.
Let rest 5 minutes to soak in flavors.
Bake uncovered for 14–15 minutes.
Remove and serve with sides or in bowls.
Notes
Substitute dill with basil or fennel.
Add lemon zest for added citrus punch.
