Turkey Injection Marinade That’ll Make Your Thanksgiving Legendary

  • Author: Ray
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 1 turkey marinade (for up to 14-16 lb bird) 1x

Description

Inject bold southern flavor directly into your turkey with this quick and juicy marinade. Perfect for holiday meals or any time you want flavor-packed poultry without the wait of a brine.

Ingredients

Scale

1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, melted

1 cup Low-Sodium Chicken Broth

2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce

1 tsp Garlic Powder

1 tsp Paprika

1 tbsp Lemon Juice (freshly squeezed)

Instructions

1. Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat.

2. Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients until fully blended.

3. Let mixture cool slightly to avoid cooking the turkey on contact.

4. Load marinade into your injector slowly to avoid air bubbles.

5. Inject into breasts, thighs, and drumsticks every 1–2 inches.

6. Blot any marinade that leaks out and season skin with rub or butter.

Notes

Optional add-ins include smoked salt, cayenne pepper, or fresh herbs like rosemary and thyme.

Use a digital thermometer to ensure all parts of the turkey reach 165°F.

Inject 12–24 hours ahead of cooking for maximum flavor infusion.
