Description
If comfort food had a season, sliders would be fall’s MVP—especially turkey sliders. Whether it’s game day, a cozy Sunday gathering, or just a weeknight when you’re craving something a little different, turkey sliders show up big with little effort.
Ingredients
1 lb ground turkey (93% lean)
1 egg
1/3 cup plain breadcrumbs
2 tbsp chopped red onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp Dijon mustard
Salt, pepper, smoked paprika (or Cajun/Creole/taco seasoning)
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, egg, breadcrumbs, red onion, garlic, mustard, and seasonings. Mix gently.
2. Form into 8 even patties, about 2.5 inches wide. Press your thumb into the center of each.
3. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium heat (or preheat air fryer to 375°F). Cook 5–6 minutes per side until browned and 165°F internal temp.
4. Add cheese and melt during final minute of cooking.
5. Toast buns and assemble sliders: bottom bun, patty, toppings (coleslaw, pickles, cranberry relish), top bun.
6. Serve immediately or keep warm in 200°F oven until ready.
Notes
Grated zucchini in the mix keeps patties juicy.
For spice: try smoked paprika, Cajun blends, or chili flakes.
Cheese options: gouda, Havarti, Swiss, smoked cheddar.
Pairs well with sweet potato fries, slaw, or herb stuffing.
