Description
A simple, flavorful vegan tofu recipe baked to golden perfection. Crispy outside, tender inside—perfect for bowls, wraps, or stir-fries.
Ingredients
1 block extra-firm tofu (pressed)
2 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce or tamari
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Instructions
Drain and press tofu for 10 minutes using a tofu press or weighted method.
Cut into cubes and mix with soy sauce, oil, garlic powder, and paprika.
Sprinkle with cornstarch and toss until coated.
Arrange on a baking sheet and bake at 400°F for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
For air fryer method, set at 375°F for 15 minutes. No need to turn.
Notes
Tofu should be well pressed to ensure crispiness.
Pair with sauces like tahini or peanut for best flavor.
