Easy, healthy apple snack bars made with oats, almond butter, and cinnamon. Perfect for kids’ lunchboxes or meal prep.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups old-fashioned oats
1/2 cup almond butter
1/4 cup honey
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 cup peeled, chopped apples
Optional: 1 tbsp chia seeds, 1/4 cup raisins
Instructions
Mix oats, cinnamon, and chia seeds in a bowl.
Heat almond butter and honey in a saucepan until smooth.
Combine warm mixture with oats until evenly coated.
Fold in chopped apples.
Press mixture into parchment-lined 8×8 pan.
Refrigerate for 1 hour, then slice into bars.
Notes
Use gluten-free oats for allergy-friendly bars.
Apples can be substituted with pears or mashed bananas.
Best stored in fridge up to 5 days.
