Crispy, sweet apple chips baked low and slow for the perfect healthy snack with only three main ingredients.
Ingredients
2–3 firm apples (Fuji, Gala, or Pink Lady)
½ tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
Juice of ½ lemon (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 225°F (107°C).
Line baking sheet with silicone baking mat or parchment paper.
Wash apples and remove core if preferred.
Use mandoline slicer to cut apples into 1/8-inch slices.
Optional: Soak slices in lemon juice to prevent browning.
Arrange slices in one layer on baking sheet.
Sprinkle cinnamon if using.
Bake for 1.5 to 2 hours, flipping halfway through.
Let cool completely before storing.
Notes
Store in airtight container to keep crisp.
Add cardamom, ginger, or nutmeg to switch up spice profile.
