Description
A quick and flavorful beef stir-fry with soy-maple glaze, garlic, and ginger. Great for weeknights and easy to customize.
Ingredients
Scale
1 lb flank steak
3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
1 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp grated fresh ginger
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp water
2 tbsp neutral oil
Garnish: green onions, sesame seeds
Instructions
Slice flank steak thinly against the grain.
Mix soy sauce, maple syrup, cornstarch, water, ginger, and garlic in a bowl.
Heat oil in skillet; sear beef strips in batches until browned.
Pour in sauce and stir for 2–3 minutes until thickened.
Garnish and serve over rice or in wraps.
Notes
Use skirt or sirloin steak if preferred.
Chili flakes or crisp add a spicy kick.
