Description

When buttery biscuits meet creamy chicken filling, comfort food reaches a whole new level. This dish blends Southern tradition with modern convenience—perfect for any kitchen.

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups shredded cooked chicken

1 can refrigerated biscuit dough

1 can cream of chicken soup

1/2 cup sour cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Optional: chopped scallions, crispy turkey bacon, or frozen peas

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease an 8×8 baking dish.

2. Mix cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and half the cheese in a large bowl.

3. Pour mixture into the prepared dish and spread evenly.

4. Quarter the biscuit dough and scatter over the top.

5. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.

6. Bake for 25–30 minutes until biscuits are puffed and golden.

7. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.

8. Cover with foil if biscuits brown too quickly.

Notes

Add Tex-Mex flair with taco seasoning and pepper jack cheese.

Use rosemary and stuffing for Thanksgiving vibes.

Replace chicken with mushrooms and spinach for a vegetarian version.

Store leftovers in the fridge up to 4 days or freeze for 2 months.

Reheat at 350°F for 10–15 minutes.
