Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
Optional: 3/4 cup chocolate chips or nuts
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line or grease an 8×8” baking pan.
In a large bowl, whisk melted butter with cocoa until smooth.
Add sugar and whisk until glossy.
Beat in eggs one at a time for 1–2 minutes.
Add salt and flour, mixing until just combined.
Fold in optional mix-ins like chocolate chunks or nuts.
Spread batter in the pan evenly.
Bake for 25–28 minutes until a toothpick inserted at edge comes out with moist crumbs.
Cool for 20 minutes before slicing.
