Ingredients
1½ cups sugar
⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
¼ cup flour
3 whole eggs
1¼ cups halal-certified whole milk
½ cup melted halal butter
1 pre-baked pie crust (homemade or store-bought)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare your pie crust and place it into a pie dish.
Mix sugar, cocoa powder, and flour in a bowl.
Add eggs one at a time, whisking until combined.
Stir in milk and melted butter. Mix until smooth.
Pour filling into pie crust.
Bake for 40–45 minutes until center is just set.
Cool on wire rack at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
Chill thoroughly before slicing for cleanest cuts.
Great when topped with sea salt or whipped topping.
Freezes well for up to two months.
