Description
Cranberry Brie Bites are the ultimate holiday appetizer—easy, elegant, and packed with flavor. Featuring creamy brie, sweet-tart cranberry sauce, and buttery puff pastry, these bite-sized treats are a festive favorite from Thanksgiving to New Year’s.
Ingredients
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
4 oz brie cheese, rind optional
1/2 cup cranberry sauce (whole berry or homemade)
Optional: chopped pecans or walnuts
Optional: rosemary or thyme sprigs
Optional: honey for drizzling
Nonstick spray or butter (for muffin tin)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Lightly grease a mini muffin tin with spray or butter.
3. Cut thawed puff pastry into 2-inch squares and press into muffin slots.
4. Place a small cube of brie in each pastry square.
5. Top each with a teaspoon of cranberry sauce.
6. Optionally, sprinkle with nuts or herbs.
7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until pastry is puffed and golden.
8. Let cool 3–5 minutes before removing from tin.
Notes
To prep ahead, assemble and freeze bites unbaked. Bake from frozen, adding 2–3 minutes to cook time.
Swap cranberry sauce with fig jam, pepper jelly, or caramelized onions for variations.
Serve warm for best flavor; reheat at 300°F for 5 minutes if needed.
