Description
Fudgy, naturally sweetened brownies made with Medjool dates, cocoa powder, and almond butter—rich in flavor, fiber, and nutrients.
Ingredients
1 cup Medjool dates (pitted)
1/2 cup almond butter
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup oat flour
2 eggs
1/2 tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and grease or line a baking pan.
Soak dates in hot water for 10 minutes, then drain.
Blend soaked dates into a thick paste.
In a mixing bowl, combine date paste, almond butter, and eggs.
Stir in cocoa powder, oat flour, baking soda, and salt until smooth.
Fold in chopped walnuts, if using.
Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
Bake for 22–25 minutes until set in the center.
Let cool before slicing.
Notes
Use flax eggs for a vegan version.
Top with almond butter swirl before baking for extra flavor.
