  • Total Time: 32 minutes
  • Yield: 24 cookies 1x

Description

Traditional Easter cookies with a modern twist, perfect for festive gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale

2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

1 cup butter, softened

1 ½ cups granulated sugar

2 large eggs

2 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup assorted sprinkles

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy.

Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.

Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Shape dough into 1-inch balls and roll them in sprinkles.

Place on an ungreased baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.

Cool on wire racks.

Notes

For a nutty aroma, use almond extract instead of vanilla.

Consider using a silicone baking mat for easier baking.
