Description
Fluffy and moist one-bowl orange vanilla sheet cake made with pantry staples. No mixer required and full of citrus flavor.
Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
½ cup canola or sunflower oil
¾ cup sugar
2 eggs
½ tsp orange zest
1 cup orange juice (no pulp)
1 tsp vanilla extract (non-alcoholic)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease or line a 9×13 pan.
Whisk dry ingredients in one bowl.
In another bowl, combine oil, sugar, eggs, vanilla, orange juice & zest.
Gently fold dry mixture into wet until just combined.
Pour batter into pan and smooth top.
Bake 30–35 mins or until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool for 10 mins before transferring to rack. Add glaze or powdered sugar if desired.
Notes
Use parchment paper for easy lifting.
Add chocolate chips or berries for variation.
