Description
This creamy garlic chicken penne is a warm, comforting pasta dish that’s quick to make and packed with flavor. Great for busy weeknights or hearty leftovers, it’s creamy, garlicky, and endlessly customizable.
Ingredients
12 oz penne pasta
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cups shredded cooked chicken
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
Salt, pepper, and chopped parsley to taste
Instructions
1. Boil penne pasta in salted water until al dente (9–10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
3. Add cooked chicken and sauté for 2–3 minutes.
4. Pour in heavy cream, stir, and simmer for 3–4 minutes.
5. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until creamy.
6. Return pasta to the skillet, toss to coat.
7. Season with salt and pepper. Top with parsley and serve.
Notes
Add red pepper flakes for spice.
Chopped spinach or kale during the simmer step boosts nutrition.
Substitute cream with Greek yogurt or cashew cream for a lighter version.
