Description
A quick and flavorful ground chicken pasta skillet made with garlic, onion, tomatoes, cream, and Italian herbs — perfect for weeknights.
Ingredients
Ground chicken (1 lb)
Garlic (3 cloves, minced)
Onion (1 medium, diced)
Crushed tomatoes (1 can)
Heavy cream (1/4 cup)
Italian seasoning (1 tsp)
Parmesan (Grated, to serve)
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and sauté for 4–5 minutes until soft and golden.
2. Add garlic and stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.
3. Toss in ground chicken. Use a spatula to break it up as it browns — cook until no longer pink (about 5–7 minutes).
4. Stir in your crushed tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Simmer 10 minutes for flavors to meld.
5. Add cream and let it bubble gently for 2 minutes.
6. Cook pasta of choice and toss into the skillet once al dente.
7. Garnish with grated Parmesan and a crack of black pepper — serve immediately.
Notes
You can add spinach, lentils, or mushrooms for extra texture and nutrients.
Try half-and-half for a lighter option or ricotta for added creaminess.
