Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour or gluten-free flour blend
1 cup toasted hazelnuts, chopped
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup salted butter or coconut oil, softened
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon alcohol-free vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
Cream butter and sugars until smooth and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla, mix well until combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients to form dough.
Fold in chopped hazelnuts and optional chocolate chips.
Scoop tablespoonfuls of dough onto baking sheet and flatten slightly.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
Cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
