Ingredients
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
6 oz semi-sweet baking chocolate
2 whole large eggs
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp vanilla bean
Pinch of salt
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Grease 2 ramekins with butter and sugar or cocoa powder.
2. Melt chocolate and butter using a double-boiler or microwave. Stir until glossy.
3. Whisk eggs and sugar until pale and thick in a separate bowl.
4. Mix chocolate mixture into the whipped eggs gently.
5. Fold in flour, salt, and vanilla until just combined.
6. Divide batter into ramekins, place on a baking sheet.
7. Bake for 12–13 minutes until edges are firm but center is slightly jiggly.
8. Let rest for 1 minute, invert onto plates, serve immediately.

Add espresso powder, raspberry jam, or peanut butter for creative twists.
