Ingredients

12 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
Zest of 2 lemons
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper
Fresh basil or parsley
Instructions
Boil pasta according to package instructions.
In a large skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic.
Add cream and lemon zest, bringing to a simmer.
Stir in Parmesan and lemon juice until smooth.
Toss pasta in the sauce, add reserved pasta water if needed.
Serve garnished with fresh basil or parsley.
