Description
A zesty and creamy lime pie made with a graham cracker crust, sweetened condensed milk, and fresh lime juice. Perfectly refreshing and simple to prepare.
Ingredients
1 ½ cups crushed graham crackers
6 tablespoons melted butter
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 tablespoon lime zest
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
½ cup fresh lime juice
4 egg yolks
1 teaspoon lime zest
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9-inch pie dish.
Mix crushed graham crackers, melted butter, sugar, and lime zest.
Press mixture into pie dish evenly to create the crust and bake for 8–10 minutes.
Let crust cool.
Whisk together condensed milk, lime juice, egg yolks, and lime zest until smooth.
Pour filling into crust and bake for 12–15 minutes.
Cool at room temperature, then chill in the fridge for 2–3 hours.
Whip cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form; top the chilled pie.
Garnish with lime zest and serve cold.
Notes
Use coconut condensed milk and egg replacements for vegan options.
Freeze without whipped topping for up to 2 months.
