Creamy Maple Fudge

  • Total Time: 1 hour 20 minutes
  • Yield: 16 squares 1x

Description

A rich and buttery maple fudge made with real maple syrup and plant-based ingredients for a soft, melt-in-your-mouth experience.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup pure maple syrup

1 cup coconut or white sugar

¾ cup unsweetened coconut milk or oat milk

2 tablespoons non-dairy butter

Pinch of fine sea salt

Optional: ¼ cup chopped pecans

Instructions

In a saucepan, combine maple syrup, sugar, milk, and salt over medium heat.

Stir constantly until it starts boiling.

Insert candy thermometer and cook until the mixture reaches 234°F (soft-ball stage).

Remove from heat, add butter, and let sit 5 minutes.

Beat until thick and dull in appearance.

Fold in pecans if using and pour into parchment-lined pan.

Cool until firm, then cut into squares.

Notes

Use Grade A Dark Robust maple syrup for best flavor.

Let fudge cool slowly to avoid graininess.

Store in airtight container to maintain creamy texture.
