Description
Savory sausage pinwheels made with flaky crescent dough, cream cheese, and melted cheddar. Perfectly portable, easy to prep ahead, and guaranteed to disappear at any party.
Ingredients
1 can crescent roll dough
1/2 lb cooked sausage
4 oz cream cheese (softened)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
2. Roll out crescent dough flat and pinch seams together.
3. Spread cooked sausage evenly over dough.
4. Spread softened cream cheese on top.
5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar and seasoning blend.
6. Roll tightly into a log.
7. Slice into 1-inch rounds.
8. Place rounds on baking sheet.
9. Bake for 14–18 minutes until golden brown.
10. Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Freeze unbaked slices for make-ahead convenience.
Reheat in air fryer at 360°F for 5 minutes or in oven at 325°F for 10–15 minutes.
