Description

A delicious, fast, and comforting pasta dish made with spaghetti, garlic, crushed tomatoes, and Parmesan in under 20 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

8 oz spaghetti

3 garlic cloves, minced

2 tbsp olive oil

1 cup crushed tomatoes

1/4 cup grated Parmesan

1/4 tsp chili flakes

Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

Boil salted water and cook the spaghetti 1 minute less than package directions.

Meanwhile, sauté garlic in olive oil over medium heat until fragrant (1 minute).

Add crushed tomatoes, chili flakes, salt, and pepper; simmer for 3–4 minutes.

Drain pasta, reserving 1/4 cup water.

Toss pasta in sauce, adding Parmesan and splash of pasta water. Stir until creamy.

Serve hot with herbs or lemon zest if desired.

Notes

Use chickpea pasta for higher protein.

Fire-roasted tomatoes add a smoky depth.

Double the batch for meal prep.
