Ingredients
1 large head fresh broccoli (or 4 cups florets)
2–3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (or avocado oil)
1 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
Optional: garlic powder, lemon zest, red pepper flakes
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C).
2. Trim your broccoli into medium florets. Avoid overcrowding on the sheet pan.
3. Toss florets in olive oil, salt, pepper, and optional seasonings.
4. Spread out on a sheet tray, flat side down, for optimal browning.
5. Roast for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
6. Remove when tops are golden and stems are tender-crisp.
7. Optional: finish with lemon juice or Parmesan.
Notes
Experiment with different seasoning blends like smoked paprika and cumin, lemon zest with thyme, or Parmesan with garlic powder.
Great in grain bowls, pasta salads, or as a brunch side.
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
