Description
Quick and easy sesame garlic noodles that take just 15 minutes to prepare using pantry ingredients and basic seasonings.
Ingredients
8 oz spaghetti or rice noodles
2 tbsp sesame oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger (freshly grated or 1/2 tsp powder)
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tsp sugar
1 green onion, chopped
1 tbsp sesame seeds
Optional: chili oil, sautéed mushrooms, or a soft-boiled egg
Instructions
Boil noodles until al dente, about 9 minutes, and drain.
While noodles cook, heat sesame oil in a skillet and add garlic and ginger; stir until fragrant.
Add soy sauce, vinegar, and sugar to the pan and stir until blended.
Toss in drained noodles and coat thoroughly in the sauce.
Garnish with green onion, sesame seeds, and optional toppings.
Notes
Use gluten-free noodles for a GF variation.
Add tofu or egg for extra protein boost.
Leftovers store well refrigerated for up to 2 days.
