A beginner-friendly salmon recipe using lemon, garlic powder, olive oil, and simple pantry spices cooked to juicy perfection.
Ingredients
2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 lemon, juiced and zested
Salt to taste
Cracked black pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F or set air fryer to 390°F.
Pat salmon fillets dry and rub lightly with olive oil.
Season both sides with garlic powder, salt, pepper, and lemon juice/zest.
Place on parchment-lined baking sheet or in air fryer basket.
Bake for 15–18 minutes or air fry for 10–12 minutes until flaky and golden.
Serve hot with vegetables, rice, or in a bowl.
Notes
Use parchment to prevent sticking.
