Description
A refreshing and hydrating drink blending oranges, lemons, and fresh basil, topped with sparkling water for a zesty summer treat.
Ingredients
4 cups cold sparkling water
1 large orange (sliced)
1 lemon (sliced)
Handful of basil leaves
2 tbsp agave syrup
Ice cubes or frozen berries
Instructions
Slice the citrus and layer into pitcher.
Clap basil leaves to release oils and add.
Pour in sparkling water.
Add sweetener of choice and stir.
Fill glasses with ice or frozen fruit, and pour drink on top.
Garnish with extra citrus slices and fresh basil.
Notes
Substitute basil with mint or lemon balm for different profiles.
Use flat water or flavored seltzer as alternatives.
