A rich, smoky chili made with shredded brisket and hearty beans—perfect for tailgating or cozy nights at home.
Ingredients
1 lb cooked beef brisket (shredded or chopped)
2 cans black beans (drained and rinsed)
1 can kidney beans
1 14 oz can fire-roasted diced tomatoes
1 small red onion, diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 cup beef broth
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin
½ tsp smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
½ tsp cayenne (optional)
Instructions
Plug in your slow cooker and coat the insert lightly with cooking spray.
Add brisket, beans, tomatoes, onion, garlic, tomato paste, and broth.
Sprinkle in chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Add cayenne if desired.
Stir everything together to combine evenly.
Cover with lid and cook on low for 6 hours.
Stir before serving and adjust seasoning if necessary.
Notes
Use jackfruit or ground turkey for a different protein option.
Top with dairy-free sour cream or chopped cilantro for added flavor.
