Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1¾ cups milk
2 eggs, separated
½ cup melted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat waffle iron.
In one bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg yolks, melted butter, and vanilla.
Combine wet and dry ingredients gently.
Beat egg whites until soft peaks form, then fold into batter.
Pour ⅓ cup batter into waffle iron, cook 3–5 minutes until golden.
Serve warm with toppings of choice.
