Description

Ingredients

45 medium apples (Granny Smith, Fuji, or Honeycrisp)

1 sheet puff pastry or homemade tart crust

2 tbsp lemon juice

2 tbsp maple syrup or honey

3 tbsp cane sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg

1/8 tsp sea salt

1 tbsp vegan butter

1 tbsp cornstarch (optional)


Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Peel and slice apples. Toss with lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Roll crust into tart pan and crimp edges.

Arrange apples in a circular pattern and dot with butter.

Sprinkle cornstarch if using.

Bake for 35–40 minutes until golden brown.

Warm maple syrup and brush on top after baking.

Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
