Ingredients
1 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup unsalted butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp culinary matcha powder
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
Optional: 1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts
Optional: Zest of one lemon
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325°F and line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
Melt white chocolate and butter until smooth; let cool briefly.
Whisk sugar and eggs until frothy. Add vanilla and melted mixture.
In another bowl, sift flour, matcha, salt, and baking powder.
Combine wet and dry ingredients; fold gently until just mixed.
Add optional mix-ins and spread batter into prepared pan.
Bake for 25–28 minutes until toothpick comes out mostly clean in center.
Cool completely before slicing for clean edges and best texture.
